Investigation also included polarisation, fringe visibility, and path length mismatch (PLM) effects of these multiplexers on FFT locator systems).
  • Successfully lead and completed the GIU project. Path length mismatch (PLM) variation, sensor and leading cable length tests, as well as sensor fence configuration tests were carried out throughout the life of the project.
  • Troubleshooting of fibre optic systems.
  • Trained and supported our local and US-based technical engineering teams.
  • Designed test plans and test procedures.
  • Prepared weekly reports for all the tasks carried out, including design and R&D issues.
  • Documented R&D internal reports and logbooks, user manuals, test plans and test procedures.
